THE EMPTINESS AS ESSENCE

Emptiness as an essence does not simply mean physical voids. Although the space may seem empty, it is filled with intangible elements such as light and sound. These natural and organic qualities, closely intertwined with our lives, add depth and atmosphere. The humility and naturally occurring gaps in the Eastern philosophy can be expanded and perceived freely by individuals. The width and depth of objects seek a simple sentiment that accepts materials as they are, or even transforms them, through harmony with nature.

본질로서의 비움은 단순히 물리적인 공백만을 의미하지 않는다. 공간은 비워진것 처럼 보이지만, 빛과 소리와 같은 형식으로 공간은 채워지게 된다. 자연스럽게 생겨나는 우리 삶에 밀접한 무형의 빛과 소리는 분위기와 깊이감을 더한다. 동양에서의 겸손함과 자연스레 생겨나는 틈들은 자유롭게 우리가 인지하느가에 따라 범위가 확장될 수 있다. 물체의 너비와 깊이는 조화를 통해 자연에서 온 재료를 그대로 사용하거나 혹은 변형까지도 온전히 받아들이는 소박한 정취를 추구하는 정신과 마음에 있다.
